              Ježiš, to Dieťa nám dané,
pre celý svet narodené,
hľa, nový rok prináša zas,
všetkým ľuďom milosti čas.

Rok pokoja nám prináša,
On je život, spása naša,
spievajme, čas je plesania
a Božieho požehnania.

Anjeli nad tým plesajú,
radostným hlasom spievajú,
vzdávajú Bohu chválu, česť,
ľuďom nesú pokoja zvesť.

Ó, vitaj s novým rokom nám,
náš milý Spasiteľ a Pán,
požehnaj telu i duši
a spas nás všetkých, Ježiši!
