              1. K tebe, Pane, na výsosti pohľad viery upieram,
lebo ty ma v každej strasti potešíš, keď zomdlievam;
láskou svojou usmerníš napriek zloby nástrahám.

2. Cestou spásy vedieš k cieľu tých, čo v teba dúfajú
a čo v boji nádej smelú z tvojho Slova čerpajú.
Sám ich pred zlom ochrániš vždy, keď k tebe volajú.

3. A hoc by sa aj zem chvela, svet sa rúcal odveký
ty sa svojho spásy diela nevzdáš, Pane, naveky.
Izraela ty si stráž, Bože mocný, preveľký.

4. Pomôž, Pane, obstáť v boji do víťazstva slávneho,
láska tvoja o nás stojí, máme strážcu verného.
Ty, čo sľúbiš, splníš rád podľa slova daného.
