              Každý človek v údive stíchni
nad tým, aký zázrak sa stal!
Ten, čo dlaňou sformoval vesmír,
ľudské telo na seba vzal.
Večný, svätý Boh,
sám večný, svätý Boh
ľudské telo na seba vzal.

Z trónu svojej moci a slávy
rozhodol sa znížiť až k nám.
V Jeho mene skrýva sa nádej:
Emanuel, s nami je Pán!
V hĺbke ľudských bied,
tu v hĺbke ľudských bied,
Emanuel, s nami je Pán!

Hviezda hviezde posiela správu,
slávnostný zbor anjelov znie.
Svetlo svetiel k zemi sa blíži,
temné moci zla zaženie.
Svitá nový deň,
už svitá nový deň,
temné moci zla zaženie.
