              Kdo Páně zhrdá pozváním,
jak chtěl by v nebi býti s ním?
Vždyť láska, již zde odmítám,
v hněv bouřlivý se změní tam.

Ó, zbloudilci, jak bude vám,
až znenadání přijde k nám
ten Ježíš, jenž vás k sobě zval,
však marně srdce dobýval?

Pak zalkáš: „Sám jsem zavinil,
sám o milost se připravil
a svévolně se řítil tam,
kde věčný oheň trpět mám!"

Jak šel bys potom k Pánu rád!
Však už jen marně budeš lkát,
že slepě tak ses v peklo hnal,
když mnohý hlas tě varoval.

Však dosud milosti je čas:
pojď k Pánu dnes, On zve tě zas!
Den pomine, čas vykupuj,
by Pán pak nebyl soudce tvůj!
