              Keď na kríži, Kriste milý,
dokonávaš v tejto chvíli -
Aj náš život je tak bezútešný!
Spomeň, Pane, na nás,
ľud svoj hriešny.

Naša chlúba, Tvoja hana,
naša radosť, Tvoja rana!
Svetlom svieti Tvoja duša biela
a tŕň ostrý vôkol Tvojho čela!

Tak trpíš pre naše zlosti;
Pane, hriešnych omilosti!
Radosť slnkom hasne nad horami:
Kriste, Kriste,
zmiluj sa nad nami!
