              Kita dirangkul oleh kuasa kasih,
menanti bagaimana akhirnya.
Tuhan dekat di malam dan di pagi;
setiap hari nyata rahmatNya.

Engkau, ya Tuhan, tahu kesakitan
yang masih dalam hati menekan.
Damai sempurna sudilah berikan
dan jiwa kami buatlah tent'ram.

Bila Engkau suguhkan cawan pahit,
penuh sengsara bagai empedu,
kami terima tanpa ragu hati,
kar'na datangnya dari tanganMu.

Namun kiranya satu kali lagi
hiburan sukacita Kauberi
kenangan manis kami peringati;
Engkau Pemilik kami abadi!

Dan bila nanti kabut kesunyian
membalut kami dalam s'limutnya,
biarlah kami mendengar pujian
umatMu dalam cah'ya mulia.
