Kriste, obranca zboru krížového, zachráň, zastaň sa mocne ľudu svojho,
zruš nepriateľské rady a úmysly v nič aby vyšli.

Sám bojuj za nás - stádočko bezmocné,
premôž tyranstvo satana premnohé; čo sa na odpor stavia Tebe i nám,
zastav a odstráň!

Daj pokoj cirkvi, vlasti i vrchnosti, rodinám našim zo svojej milosti, daj pokoj srdcu i svedomie čisté zachovaj, Kriste!

Znieť bude za to menu Tvojmu chvála tu časne a raz v nebi neustála z úst ľudu Tvojho, Tebou chráneného,
vyvoleného.
