Kriste, Ty si svetlo i deň,
zažeň od nás v noci zlý sen,
Ty si svetlo svetiel, Pane,
svetlo večné v Tebe máme.

Vzhliadni na nás, Obranca náš, ak by diabol zvádzať chcel nás, nedaj, aby nám uškodil, však si nás Ty vyslobodil.

Pane Bože všemohúci,
ochraňuj nás tejto noci,
daj nám pokojne spočinúť,
s dôverou sa k Tebe vinúť.

Daruj telu spánok tichý,
srdcu čisté praj myšlienky,
pevne Ti dôverujeme,
bdej nad nami, keď usneme.

Amen! všetci zaspievajme
a Bohu sa odovzdajme,
poručme sa celkom Jemu
ako Otcovi milému.
