              Kto ku Kristu na kríži
upiera zrak,
je z milosti uzdravený.
Poď ty, koho zahalil
zúfalstva mrak,
ver Bohu! Si zachránený!

  Hľaď, hľaď, brat môj, hľaď!
  Kto ku Kristu na kríži
  upiera zrak,
  je z milosti zachránený.

Či nezničil Pán Ježiš
každý tvoj hriech,
či nestrpel aj Boží hnev?
V tej krvi
už všetko je očistené,
tam slobody zasvitol deň.

Len viera a modlitby,
pokánia plač
ťa viesť môžu v otcovský dom.
Pán Ježiš ťa spasil,
nuž na Neho hľaď!
Veď k Otcovi prístup je v Ňom.

Ver, duša,
a v pokore ku krížu príď,
už dávno ťa Pán povolal!
Ty z Ježiša smieš čerpať,
blažene žiť,
Boh za teba v obeť Ho dal.
