              Ku koncu sa deň skláňa,
blíži sa nočný čas;
či vaše lampy žiaria
a či bdie každý z vás?
Nastane úsvit ranný,
keď skryté zjaví sa,
nuž buďte prichystaní
privítať Ženícha!

Ó, bdejte, múdre panny,
olej si pripravte,
piesňami a chválami
verne Ho vítajte;
veď svadba začína sa,
už znie spev anjelský,
strážcovia príchod hlásia:
ide Pán nebeský!

Hodina blaženosti
začína, už je tu!
Horia fakle radosti
v nebeskom príbytku.
Kto Pána v rúchu novom
čaká bez prestania,
po boku Baránkovom
pred trónom miesto má.

Ježiši, túžba srdca,
Tys svetlo, jas a plam,
Ty si radosť bez konca,
len v Tebe nádej mám,
že jak si sľúbil, prídeš,
svitne deň vzkriesenia
a veriacich uvedieš
do slávy spasenia!
