              Kun Golgatasta
lauluni laulan,
niin sen voiman
tunnen sielussain.
Oi, puhtautta
luopi se aivan.
Jo taivahan
tuntooni sain.

  Oi veri Golgatan,
  oi veri Golgatan,
  veri Jeesuksen,
  siunattu vuo!
  "Halleluja!"
  laulun on,
  ihan taivahan
  tuntooni tuo.

Kun Pyhä Henki
kirkasti kerran
mulle verihaavat
Jeesuksen,
niin ymmärsin mä:
Rakkaus Herran
mun tähteni
tehnyt on sen.

Kun rakkaudesta
meihin on tuonut
Jeesus pyhän
uhrin Golgatan,
on lupauksen
Hengestä suonut
ja antanut
Puolustajan.
