              Käy rohkeasti
ristin luo,
se sielullesi
rauhan tuo.
Sun kahlees
siellä katkeaa
ja taivaan
ovi aukeaa.

Käy ristin
luokse pesolle
ja katso tarkoin
ristille!
Sun Kuninkaasi
tässä on
ja Veriylkä viaton.

Nyt kulje, sielu,
ristin tie,
se Golgatalle
sinut vie.
Se verellä
on kasteltu
ja ristin kanssa
kuljettu.

Käy pelkäämättä
ristin luo,
on siellä veren
puhtaan vuo.
Hän Herra
taivaan kunnian
ja uhrilammas
Jumalan.

Käy lähemmäksi
ristiä;
on sulla
paljon syntiä.
Se armoalttarisi
on, sä vaikka
olet toivoton.
