              La perfecta justicia divina,
Atestigua en su sangre Jesús;
La justicia y la gracia se encuentran
Ambas juntas se ven en la cruz.

Dios no puede excusar al culpable,
Por sus culpas tendrá que morir;
Mas la cruz a la vez nos demuestra
Que en justicia sabe Él redimir.

Jesucristo la deuda ha pagado
Con la sangre preciosa que dio;
La justicia ya está satisfecha,
Y la gracia los brazos abrió.

Aquella alma que a Cristo se acoja
Confiando en el buen Salvador,
Obtendrá la salud venturosa
Y la paz que disipa el temor.
