              Megjelölték homlokod a kereszt jelével,
Tiszta lelked tündököl a fényben.
Gyermek szívvel megáldott a mennyei Atyánk,
Arcod boldog mosolyában ő ragyog reánk.

  Isten gyermeke lettél,
  Fényben megfürödtél,
  Hófehér ruhát öltöttél.
  Isten gyermeke lettél,
  Fényben megfürödtél,
  Bűneidből újjászülettél.

Szent olajat öntöttek a gyermek fejedre,
Krisztusé vagy, fölkentek a hitre.
Életednek hosszú útján Ő legyen a cél!
Indulj el, hogy egykor te is hozzá érkezzél!
