              Muy cercano está el día
Cuando volverá Jesús,
Con la majestad y gloria
Que le dio su Padre Dios.
De sus santos rodeado
En la nube bajará;
Ya es suyo el reinado
Y el pecado quitará.

  ¡Ven, Señor Jesús, ven pronto!
  Clamen todos con ardor;
  "He aquí yo vengo presto,
  Presto", dice el Salvador.

Tu venida, Jesucristo,
Librará la humanidad
De Satán autor inicuo,
De su gran calamidad.
Cesaran todos los males
Por el reino de Jesús,
¡Alegraos, oh mortales!
¡Ved el triunfo de su cruz!

Cuánto ama y espera
Tu venida, ¡oh Jesús!,
Toda alma que es salva
Por la sangre de tu cruz.
"Ven y siéntate conmigo
En mi trono", el Rey dirá;
"Has sufrido y vencido,
De mi gloria goza ya."
