Nim wyszedłeś dzisiaj z domu, czy modliłeś się?
Czy prosiłeś Zbawcę swego,
By Cię chronić chciał od złego
Dzisiaj cały dzień?

  Jakaż siła jest w modlitwie!
  Ona zmienia noc na dzień.
Gdy więc słabniesz w życia bitwie,
  Klęknij, pomódl się.

Gdy twe serce złość napełnia
Czy ty modlisz się?
Czy o łaskę prosisz z nieba
Byś przebaczyć mógł gdy trzeba
Gdy ktoś skrzywdzi się.

W doświadczenia ciężki chwile,
Czy modliłeś się?
Kiedy w smutku dusza płacze
Czyś do nieba wzniósł swe oczy,
Skąd Bóg balsam śle?
