              No en un palacio de esplendor,
Ni en la mansión de gran Señor,
Mas en el campo del pastor
El Salvador nació.

  Nació, nació,
  Pues entre los pobres nació;
  El Salvador del pecador
  Les dio su gran amor.

Vino del seno Paternal,
De su morada celestial,
Para sufrir por nuestro mal,
El Salvador nació.

Para expiar el mal atroz
Y así honrar la ley de Dios,
Y que oyéramos su voz,
El Salvador nació.
