              Čakám na ten slávny deň,
keď Ježiš ako Kráľ
sa objaví On pre svoj ľud
dom v nebi prichystal.

Srdce nádej naplní,
keď myslím na ten deň,
som hotový, už neťaží
ma viny, strachu tieň.

Či ty nechceš s nami vojsť
do slávnej ríše hviezd?
Ó, nemeškaj! Zve Spasiteľ!
Nuž vráť sa z bludných ciest.

  Sväté mesto z nebies výšin
  zostupuje k nám,
  Jeruzalem nový vidím,
  ktorý schystal Pán.

Vždy bývať v radosti bez tiesne,
bolesti, aký je v tom jas.
  V bránach nech Jeho skvostných
  len Jemu chválu vzdám.
  Nieto tam starosti,
  slzy a žalosti,
  nieto hriech ni čas.
  Ježiš Kristus
  je v Ňom svit slnka,
  nádherný chrám.
