Nu mai fi trist, o, suflete dragă,
Şi nu-ţi mai face inimă rea,
// Căci se va sfârşi totul degrabă,
Te iubeşte Isus, nu uita ! //

Ai nădejde în Domnul preasfântul
Şi mai des roagă-te cu mult foc,
// Şi primi-vei tu pacea Lui sfântă
Liniştindu-te iarăşi pe loc. //

Iar când valurile şi furtuna,
Îţi răpesc din nou liniştea ta,
// Tu ridică-ţi privirea spre Domnul,
Care din nou te va mângâia. //

Viaţa noastră Hristos o conduce,
Şi-n tot locul ne-o fi de-ajutor,
// Dăruindu-ne tot ce dorim noi
Dragul nostru şi scump Salvator. //
