              Nuž všetci verní kresťania,
chváľme Hospodina,
Boh brány nebies otvára,
daruje nám Syna,
daruje nám Syna.

On z lona Otcovho vyšiel
a dieťaťom sa stal,
chudobný a nahý prišiel,
len v jasliach miesto mal.

Načas slávy božstva vzdal
prestolu svätého,
podobu človeka prijal
On, Tvorca všetkého. :/:

S nami sa spája predivne
vo svete plnom bied,
kráľovstvo nám dáva slávne,
nad ktoré ceny niet. :/:

Povýšil nás, sám sa znížil,
aká to premena!
Kto by za cudzí dlh platil?
Len On to vykonal. :/:

Ježiš, hoc všetkých vecí Pán, sa najbiednejším stal,
v Ňom daný vzácny poklad nám,
nesmiernej lásky dar. :/:
