O, noi ne-am bizuit pe Domnul,
De-aceea nu ne-au biruit
Nici vantul cand vuia puternic,
Nici valul cand izbea cumplit.

  Bizuiti-va pe Domnul
Toti ai Lui, in orice fel,
  Caci in El au biruinta
  Cati se bizuie pe EL.

O, noi ne-am bizuit pe Domnul,
De-aceea cand zdrobiti paream,
Spre fericita izbavire
Adanc increzatori priveam.

O, noi ne-am bizuit pe Domnul,
De-aceea-n nopti de suferinti
Inchisi, noi pregateam in lanturi
Cantarea marii biruinti.

O, noi ne-am bizuit pe Domnul,
De-aceea azi cantam asa,
Din toata inima slavindu-I
Puterea si iubirea Sa.
