              1. Odpočívaj. Spi v náručí zeme,
už nijaké ťa neťaží bremä,
hoc smrti tieň nás ešte vždy mučí,
tvoj mieru sen už nič nenaruší. Odpočívaj.

2. Odpočívaj. Už koniec je bojov,
nás teší Pán tou útechou svojou,
že príde k nám a raz všetko zmení,
už nebude smrť, bôľ v rozlúčení. Odpočívaj.

3. Odpočívaj. Raz príde tá chvíľa,
keď zaznie hlas a z úst kráľov
Kráľa nádherná zvesť sa rozletí zemou:
Hľa, večnej slávy čaká už domov. Odpočívaj.
