              ¡Oh Padre Eterno! ¡Oh Padre amado!
Perdón te pido por mis pecados.
Todos mis días he malgastado,
Mas hoy mis ruegos a ti levanto.

  ¡Oh Padre Eterno!
  ¡Oh Padre amado!
  Perdón te pido
  Por mis pecados.

Se que merezco tu desagrado,
Porque en tus sendas ni un paso he dado.
Mas ¡oh Dios mío! ve que soy flaco;
Dame tu gracia, dame tu amparo.

¡Oh! no permitas, Dios soberano,
que en adelante more en pecado;
Hazme en tu gracia odiar lo malo,
Y en tu camino guía mis pasos.
