              "Oi, tullos,
riennä luokseni,
sä työtätekevä,
sä raskautettu lapseni
ja köyhä, kärsivä.
On rauha suuri luonani,
oi sielu uupunut.
Saat kaikki
synnit anteeksi,
ne olen maksanut."

Näin kutsuu
ääni Jeesuksen
nyt luokseen saapumaan.
Hän antaa
rauhan ihmeisen
ja suojan haavoissaan.
Jo vettä ikielämän
Hän sulle tarjoaa.
Ja sielun sairaan, etsivän
voi Jeesus parantaa.

Käy niin kuin
olet, köyhänä,
ja mielin murtuvin.
Niin kuolleena ja kylmänä
ja halutonnakin
saat rientää
luokse Jeesuksen
ja kuulla kuiskeensa:
"Mä synnin haavat
parannan
ja annan armoa."
