              1. Pán z lásky trón opustil,
on spôsob jak spasiť nás našiel,
sám život svoj položil
za hriechy a za viny naše.

Ref.: Aj pre teba na kríži mrel,
z úst tvojich mu za to znej chvála,
v ňom zvoľ si svoj života cieľ,
  Krista prijmi za svojho Kráľa.

2. Je nádej pre človeka,
hoc do hlbín hriechu svet klesol.
Pán láska je odveká,
veď on za nás bremä vín niesol.

3. On na srdce klope ti,
nuž dovoľ mu do neho vstúpiť,
sám cestu ti osvieti,
s ním nebudeš v temnote blúdiť.

4. Pán obhajcom tvojím je,
vždy láskavo k tebe sa skláňa,
on nad tebou verne bdie,
česť, chválu mu nes bez prestania.
