              Pane, v kríža blízkosti
záchrana je moja.
Tam sa v zdroji milosti
rany hriechu zhoja.

V kríži len, v kríži len,
  všetka moja sláva,
  cestou k Tomu, ktorý mi
  život z kríža dáva.

Láska Božia pod krížom raz
ma v biede našla,
presvietila srdce mi,
hrôza noci zašla.

Spasiteľu, spod kríža
nedaj mi sa vzdialiť,
v jeho tôni uč ma žiť,
Tvoju obeť chváliť.

Blízko kríža zostať chcem
plný vďaky, viery,
prv než v jas ma dovedieš,
čo mu nieto miery.
