              Partea mea vei fi, o, Doamne scutul meu in vesnicii,
Pe cararea catre ceruri langa mine tu sa fii!
// Domnul meu, Domnul meu, //
Pe cararea catre ceruri langa mine Tu sa fii!

Nu o viata mai usoara, nu vreau faima, bogatii,
Mai degraba suferinta, langa mine doar sa fii!
// Domnul meu, Domnul meu, //
Mai degraba suferinta, langa mine doar sa fii!

Si prin vai intunecoase mana Ta ma va pazi;
Cand voi trece pragul mortii langa mine vreau sa fii!
// Domnul meu, Domnul meu, //
Cand voi trece pragul mortii langa mine vreau sa fii!
