              Plesajme srdečne,
kresťania v túto chvíľu,
že sme dnes radostne
dožili slávnosť milú:
Obnovenia viery
pamiatku výročnú,
keď od chrámu dverí
zjasal lúč v tmu nočnú.

Tma kryla národy,
blud zajal srdcia, umy -
a svetlo slobody
zapadlo v hriechov rumy;
až muž vyvolený
silným hlasom viery
vo svätom nadšení
rozplašil blud šerý.

Už nám zase svieti
to svetlo, Slnce jasné,
vieru v duši nieti,
kiež nikdy nevyhasne;
lásku zapaľuje,
riadi srdca tlkot
Kristus, ktorý nám je:
Cesta, pravda, život.
