              Re m

Popor al Domnului, asculta vestea:
„Intoarce-te la dragostea dintai,
Cu post, cu lacrimi si cu umilinta,
Si-n umilinta pururi sa ramai! ..."

  El nu vrea jertfe, nici vitei pe-altare,
  Nici hainele, ca sa va sfasiati;
  // Dar, inimile voastre, fiecare,
  Cu toti jertfiti pe-a-Domnului altare
  Si viata-ntreaga Lui sa I-o-nchinati! //

Nu datini stramosesti, nici obiceiuri,
Nici zile sorocite de la zei;
Caci doar acei cu inima curata,
Ei vor vedea in cer pe Dumnezeu.

Caci Domnul este plin de bunatate:
Milos, indurator si iertator
Si-n dragostea cea sfanta, El, din slava,
Va binecuvanta al Sau popor.

Vestiti Sionului o sarbatoare,
Caci Domnul S-a-ndurat de-al Sau popor.
Sunati din trambite! Cantati-I slava!
Curand veni-va Mirele pe nori!
