              Troquei minhas tristeza,
Também minhas vergonhas,
Deixei-as por tua alegria Senhor!

Tomaste minhas dores,
E enfermidades,
Me deste a tua alegria Senhor!

Sim oh sim, oh sim Senhor!
Sim oh sim, oh sim Senhor!
Sim oh sim, oh sim Senhor, amém!

  Aflito mas não destruído
  ou abandonado,
  Tua alegria é minha força,
  Da maldição fui resgatado
  sou abençoado,
  Tua palavra é fiel Senhor!

Se a tristeza na noite vier,
  A alegria vem ao amanhecer!!
