              1. Posvätiť deň sobotný prikázal nám Hospodin,
veď on sám ho oddelil, požehnal a posvätil;
i ja prácu odkladám, vôľu Božiu v úcte mám.

2. Ticho vôkol, svätý čas, zaznieva k nám Pánov hlas:
Všetci, čo ste znavení, príďte, ja vás občerstvím,
vodu živú chcem vám dať, mannu z neba darovať.

3. Nežne volá Boží Syn: Neklesaj pod ťarchou vín!
Mojou krvou máš i ty každý svoj hriech obmytý.
Za mnou poď, ja dať ti chcem večný domov, novú zem.

4. Príď, Duch Svätý, so mnou buď,
láskou naplň srdce, hruď,
svojou mocou pri mne stoj, vernosť daj i pokoj svoj,
nech raz môžem, kde si ty, večne sláviť soboty.
