              1. Poznáš počet hviezd, čo svietia,
keď je tichá jasná noc,
ktoré z prenesmiernej diaľky
zvestujú nám Božiu moc?
Vesmír celý Pán Boh stvoril,
svoju múdrosť sám doň vložil,
dosiaľ tvoriť neprestal
mocný Tvorca, nebies Kráľ.

2. Či vieš, koľko živých tvorov
víta ráno slnka jas,
koľko hlasov Pána chváli
každým dychom zas a zas?
Stvoriteľ náš milostivý
bdie nad nimi, všetky živí,
všade jasot, samý ples,
ako včera, tak aj dnes.

3. Či vieš, z koľkých detských úst
znie pieseň chvály veselá,
Koľko detí každé ráno
vďaku k nebu vysiela?
Pán im zdravie, silu dáva,
chráni ich a požehnáva,
ver, aj teba má on rád,
večnú radosť chce ti dať.
