Príď, ó, príď, Ty Knieža mieru,
príď, Syn dávno čakaný!
Zníž sa z trónu svojej slávy,
príď a vládni na zemi!
Tvoja sláva, moc a vláda
našou bude záchranou.
Naplň dávne túžby naše,
príď a svieť nám sveta tmou!

Dieťa nám sa narodilo,
v Ňom Boh svojho Syna dal.
V Betleheme v biednom chlieve
chudobný, a predsa Kráľ.
Boh Ho z lásky na svet poslal,
aby hriešnych vykúpil,
aby ten, kto v Neho dúfa,
v Jeho sláve večne žil.
