Preč z bahna hrôzy ma Ježiš vzal,
pod nohy skalu mi spásy dal.
Od hriechov umyl ma krvou svätou
  môj Spasiteľ, Priateľ a Pán.

Smrťou obstaral mi žitia dar.
Ježišov kríž je sloboda, zdar,
už pokoj, blaženosť večnú mám.
On je môj
Spasiteľ, Priateľ a Pán.

Z hrobu vsta a vo mne živý je,
viem znovu začať, zniesť trápenie.
Ja často zlyhávam, zabúdam,
nesklame
Spasiteľ, Priateľ a Pán.

Ak chceš v požehnaní skvostom stáť,
trvalou láskou ľudí mať rád,
ber vieru!
Brány už dokorán otvoril
Spasiteľ, Priateľ a Pán.
