              1. Prehojné žehnanie z neba
z lásky chce Otec nám dať;
najlepšie vie on, čo treba,
verne chce pri nás vždy stáť.

  Ref.: Láskavý Pane,
  žehnať ráč vždy ľud svoj sám,
  dary, čo z milosti máme,
  pomáhaj zúročiť nám.

2. Prehojné žehnanie dával
Hospodin, komu dať chcel,
v úcte kto pred ním sa skláňal,
spásou mu v ústrety šiel.

3. Prehojné žehnanie dostal
Boží ľud vykúpený,
turíčny dážď keď mu poslal
Kristus, Pán oslávený.

4. Prehojné žehnanie Božie
sprevádza dosiaľ aj nás;
čokoľvek stihnúť nás môže,
Pán ľud svoj ochráni včas.
