              Prišli sme, ó Ježiši,
počuť Tvoje slovo zase,
učiň srdce schopnejším
prijať vzácnu zvesť o spáse:
Obráť myseľ našu celú
k Tebe, drahý Spasiteľu.

Rozum náš i schopnosti
veľkou tmou sú zahalené,
preto zošli z milosti
Ducha svojho osvietenie;
dobre zmýšľať, konať môže
komu to dáš z lásky, Bože.

Blesk slávy a jasnosti,
svetlo z svetla Boha Otca,
osvecuj nás z výsosti,
rozviaž ústa, uši, srdcia,
naše prosby, spev úprimný,
vypočuj, Pane, a prijmi.
