Prišiel na zem konať dielo spásy
a ľuďom biednym s láskou pomáhal,
ku slobode zval zotročených hriechom
môj Pán.

Svetom šiel a ľudskú niesol biedu,
chcel z lásky splniť Otcov spásy plán,
na kríži mrel,
však tretí deň vstal z hrobu
môj Pán.

  Môj Pán Ježiš ma miloval
až na smrť šiel, svoj život dal.
Môj Pán Ježiš dnes teba zve,
  poď domov, vráť sa späť!

Jeho láska stále rany hojí
a ku spáse nám náruč otvára,
dnes ako predtým búrku upokojí
môj Pán.

Jeho milosť stále ešte trvá,
chce zmieriť ľudí s Otcom nebeským
a krvou splatiť mzdu za vykúpených
môj Pán.
