              Karanlık, karanlıktı
Senden önce bu dünya
Sevginle umut verdin
Işık oldun her canlıya

Son verdin bütün acılara
Kucak açtın günahkârlara
Affettin şifa verdin yaralara
Gösterdin yolu sonsuzluğa

  Bir sofrada birleştirdin bizi
  Ekmek sendin, şarapta sen
  Ayırmadın hiç birimizi
  Kutsal sendin, ışıkta sen

Bizim için feda ettin kendini
Rab, rabbimizsin İsa
Sen sevgiyle geldin umut oldun
Karanlığı aydınlığa boğdun

  Yol gösterip içimizi ısıttın
  Sevgiyle doldurdun her anı
  Yol gösterip içimizi ısıttın
  Sevgiyle doldurdun her anı

Bizim için feda ettin kendini
Rab, rabbimizsin İsa
Sen sevgiyle geldin umut oldun
Karanlığı aydınlığa boğdun

Yol gösterip içimizi ısıttın
Sevgiyle doldurdun her anı
Yol gösterip içimizi ısıttın
Sevgiyle doldurdun her anı
