              Rakas Jeesus,
Sä alkaissa vuoteni tään
apus, armosi
matkalle suo.
Ole kanssani,
niin että johtosi nään,
koko henkeni
uudeksi luo,
vie lapsesi
polkua taivaan.

Paras siunaus
alkaissa vuotteni mun
nimes kallis
ja autuas on.
Sinun huomahas, Jeesus
mä turvaudun,
Sulta vain
levon saa levoton,
kun maailma
myrskyten pauhaa.

Sanas olkohon valkeus,
kynttiläni
yllä polkuni
alhossa maan.
Veres voimalla
saata mua puhtahaksi,
tule uskoni
varjelemaan.
Mun eestäni
oot Sinä kuollut.
