              Riennä nyt joutuisaan
Herran luo teiltä maan.
Tänään juuri Hän sua odottaa.
Kun sä nöyrästi vaan
rukoilet armoaan,
sulle rauhansa Hän lahjoittaa.
Verellään osti sun,
syntisen, tuomitun,
sinut tahtoisi Hän pelastaa.
Riennä nyt joutuisaan
Herran luo teiltä maan.
Tänään juuri Hän sua odottaa.

Riennot, ystävät maan
niinkö rakkahat vaan,
että hylkäisit taivahan maan?
Valtakuntansa, oi,
Jeesus sullekin toi
verellänsä ja kuolemallaan.
Merkki on Karitsan
risti vain Golgatan,
yhä loistaa se purppurassaan.
Riennot, ystävät maan
niinkö rakkahat vaan,
että hylkäisit taivahan maan?
