              Ristin luona
valkenee,
murheet mustat
raukee,
pulmat pahat
selkenee,
taivaan ovi aukee.

Ristin luona
valkenee,
unet häijyt
haihtuu,
kiusat suuret
pakenee,
yökin päivään
vaihtuu.

Ristin luona
valkenee.
Turhaan tuonen
myrskyt
elon purtta
runtelee,
vaahtopäiset
hyrskyt.

Ristin luona
valkenee,
kuuluu taivaan
soitto.
Kotiranta lähenee.
Kohta saadaan
voitto.

Ristin luona
valkenee.
Siion, kahlees
päästä!
Mainen ranta
loittonee.
Vaivaas ällös
säästä.
