Rozpomeň sa na tú slávnu dobu,
v ktorej Boží oheň plápolal.
Hrdinovia premáhali zlobu,
Pán Boh svojim víťazstvo vždy dal.

Vtedy kraje nezdobili chrámy,
Bohoslužieb predpis zmrazený,
príbytok ten radosťou bol známy,
Božou mocou, čistým nadšením.

Na dedinke domy všedné, malé,
Svätým Duchom boli plnené,
modlitby a piesne k Božej chvále,
vysielali srdcia spojené.

Pán Ježiš je ten istý, jak včera,
poslať oheň aj dnes silu má!
S Bohom keď sa stretne naša viera,
oživenia zázrak vykoná.

  Čakáme to prebudenie slávne,
  ktoré aj náš život obnoví.
Naše prosby nikdy nie sú márne,
  zažať srdcia Boh je hotový.
