              Sólo tengo tu Palabra
Por antorcha de mi fe;
Ella me alumbra el camino
En donde pongo mi pie.

Igual el don recibido
Al ofrecimiento fue
Para tu siervo; ¡oh Dios mío!
¡Cuán firme tu Palabra es!

Llegará tu verdad santa
Hasta la posteridad
Más remota. Tú fundaste
La tierra: no faltará.

Llenará el tiempo su curso
Entrando en la eternidad,
Y tu palabra en el cielo
Siempre inmutable será.
