1. Sobota Pánova, vzácny to čas
v duši sa rozlieva nebeský jas
Stvoriteľ posiela večnej spásy zvesť
radostne Mu vzdávajme chválu a česť

Ref.: Sobotný deň vždy tak drahý je nám
svoju dal pečať naň Hospodin sám
pre Neho vrúcny náš chválospev znie
On okom láskavým nad nami bdie

2. Sobota Pánova všetkých chce viesť
k pokoja zdroju zo všednosti ciest
kde nám stôl hojnosti pripravuje Pán
On nás chlebom života nasýti sám

3. Sobota Pánova, túžime dnes
vierou sa do Božej blízkosti vzniesť
Pánovi ochotne srdcia chceme dať
a za jeho dobrotu vždy ďakovať

4. Sobota Pánova, pokoja deň
zaháňa únavnej časnosti tieň
Keď sa raz všetko zlo navždy pominie
Boží ľud u Pána si odpočinie
