              1. Sobotný deň z veľkej lásky
daroval nám Stvoriteľ,
upevňuje naše zväzky,
ukazuje viery cieľ.
Boh nás ako Otec verný
teší, chráni, trestať vie,
Kristus k spáse stal sa dvermi,
otcovské zve náručie.

2. Teba, Pane, chceme chváliť,
vďaky úprimnej čuj hlas,
v milosti si neskonalý,
k nám sa skláňaš v každý čas.
Do otroctva zapredaný
svet si krížom vykúpil
a ľud hriechom poškvrnený
krvou svojou očistil.

3. A keď k nám sa vrátiš zase,
nádherný to bude čas,
zem sa zaskvie v novej kráse,
nebom zaznie chvály hlas.
V sobotný deň budú znova
zo všetkých úst piesne znieť,
tam, kde cirkev Ježišova
Božiu tvár už bude zrieť.
