              Sun turviisi, Jeesus,
mä antaudun vaan.
Sä sieluni valloita
nyt kokonaan,
niin ettei mua
maailma viettelisi.
Oi, puhdista siis
lumivalkeaksi!

  Puhdista siis, oi,
  puhdista siis
  mun sydämeni
  lumivalkeaksi!

Sä syntini kaikki
voit pyyhkiä pois,
ne vaikkapa suuret
ja raskahat ois,
ne veresi voimasta
katoavi.
Oi, puhdista siis
lumivalkeaksi!

Oi Jeesus, Sä
katseesi puoleeni luo,
mun kaikkeni Sulle
nyt uhrata suo.
Suo työssäni
heikolle voimiasi.
Oi, puhdista siis
lumivalkeaksi!
