              Sur la croix où tu meurs pour moi,
Je te contemple par la foi
Et je t'adore, ô mon Sauveur,
Roi de gloire, homme de douleur.

O roi d'épines couronné,
Pour les pécheurs tu t'es donné ;
Qu'à toi je me donne à mon tour
Entièrement et sans retour !

Tu te rendis obéissant
Jusqu'à la mort en t'abaissant ;
Fais qu'aussi je sache obéir,
Et pour mon Dieu vivre et mourir.

Dans le cœur de ton racheté
Mets ta parfaite humilité,
Que je devienne, ô Jésus-Christ,
Conforme à toi par ton Esprit.
