                Ja oči svojej viery
  len k Tebe upieram,
  veď život som Ti zveril,
  môj slávny Boh a Pán.

Ty cestou k môjmu cieľu
ma láskou chrániš sám.
Ty dávaš nádej smelú,
že v Tebe spásu mám.

Ty dôvery si hodný
a nikdy nesklameš,
Ty stály si deň po dni
a stály zostaneš.

Aj keď je cesta úzka,
mne svieti kríža jas.
Aj srdce, nielen ústa
Ťa vďačne chvália zas.
