              1. Světu zaznívá zvěst spásná,
mocně zvučí do všech stran,
že se brzy Kristus vrátí
jako slávy Král a Pán.
Vzešla lidem chvíle slavná,
kdy se hlásá soudu zvěst:
Vzdejte svému Stvořiteli
mocně chválu, dík i čest.

  Ref.: Mizí temný noční stín,
  brzy den se rozední;
  lide Boží, vstaň a připrav se,
  blízko je tvé spasení.

2. Světu zaznívá zvěst spásná,
touha dojde splnění,
pak se naše víra smělá
ve skutečnost promění.
Z říše smrti, z prachu hrobů
vyjdou, kteří zemřeli;
pro svou víru život přijmou,
Páně hlas až zavelí.

3. Světu zaznívá zvěst spásná,
zvěst o míru, pokoji,
vítězem se stane Ježíš,
nepřítele odzbrojí.
Nikdo věrným Božím dětem
nemůže pak ublížit,
šťastně již na nové zemi
budou se svým Pánem žít.

  Ref.: Mizí temný noční stín,
  brzy den se rozední;
  lide Boží, vstaň a připrav se,
  blízko je tvé spasení.
