              Jesus, min frelser,
er øm og kjærlig.
Han fremfor tusener
er skjønn og herlig.
Korsets død Han led,
men i kraft Han lever!
Han en evig seier vant!

  kor: Syng en hallelujasang -
  Syng for Jesus dagen lang!
Gi Ham pris og ære -
  Han din hjelp vil være!
  Syng en hallelujasang!

Gamle patriarker
om Jesus profeterte.
Disiplene forkynte Ordet
og demonstrerte.
Jesus var med og gjorde
tegn og under.
Det var Han som seier vant.

Jesus Kristus,
løven av Juda stamme.
Åpner blindes øyne
og gir kraft til de lamme.
Pinsens ild Han tente
over hele jorden
Etter at Han seier vant.

Midnattsropet lyder,
Gud vekker opp de døde:
Og av nåde reiser Han
den ringe av støvet.
Bruden gjør seg rede
til å møte sin brudgom,
Han som evig seier vant.
